Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to eradicate the root causes of extreme poverty in Ghana by building a self-sustaining agricultural economy that empowers local communities to thrive in their home country.

The Vision

Economic desperation drives countless young adults to undertake life-threatening journeys to Europe. We provide a concrete alternative. By developing 20 hectares of riverside land into a modern, fully irrigated farming operation, we are creating a localized engine for economic independence. We aim to give young people the tools, the employment, and the dignity to build a future exactly where they are.

Agriculture as a Social Engine

We do not view farming merely as food production; we use it as a mechanism for comprehensive social support. The revenues and yields from our agricultural projects are channeled directly into three core pillars:

Who We Are

Based in Duisburg, Germany, Samaritanians e.V. is a pragmatic, impact-driven NGO founded by Kofi Agougno. We operate with minimal administrative overhead, ensuring that every donation goes directly to our work on the ground in Ghana.

Our ultimate goal is not endless charity, but total self-sufficiency. Once our agricultural infrastructure is fully established, the project will sustain itself entirely through the sale of surplus produce in Accra.
