Samaritanians Landwirtschaftsprojekt

Samaritanians Organisation Farming
Food for all project
We are the Samaritanians Organisation in Germany supporting an irrigation farming project in Ghana. An area of 20 hectares of land at the bank of a river is ready to be cultivated. But without irrigation, the outcome of the harvest will be insufficient and totally uncertain. The project will give employment to poor people in Ghana and will reduce the ever persisting problem of starvation and malnutrition of children. In the start phase, the small irrigation project needs an initial support.
We will begin to plant cereals like maize, rice, and vegetables like tomatoes, okra, pepper, paprika and soybeans. With irrigation the climate is ideal for continuous growth and there can be two or even three harvests per year. After the initial phase, the farm shall be financed by the sale of products in the country. Accra, the capital city, is 70 km away from the farm.
We want to contribute to give the poor and less privileged people in Ghana a good living and future of hope in their own native country. There shall be better ways for young people than taking the risk of death to arrive in Europe, where they often don’t make it. A lot of them risk their precious lives in the desert or the Mediterranean Sea when trying to come to Europe through Italy. And even if they arrive, they can’t cope with the different educational and economic system in Europe.
Since 2020 we have cleared almost six hectares of land ready for cultivation, help us with some money so we can buy our machines for the irrigation project.
Now at this time of Corona Pandemic, life is more difficult than before, and the poor people are even poorer than before Corona, therefore we are appealing to you for help, so that we can produce and provide for the poor and less privileged in society.
Donate and help us to support this small irrigation project in Ghana. You will save lives and give a hopeful perspective to people in Ghana. Samaritanians Organization guarantees that all funds and donations will be used responsibly only for the irrigation farming project. On our Homepage we will regularly report the progress of the project.
